Leopard 3.7.1 (March 24, 2017) This update is available to users who are running the Leopard 3.6 release, which is not affected by this update.
It fixes a bug in the Leopard print driver that could cause the printer driver to incorrectly output the correct number of dots per inch (DPI) when printing a line of paper.
The printer driver also fixes a few other issues, including printing dots at different heights.

It fixes a regression in the printing of dots when the printer is not connected to a network connection.
A new driver update includes a number of fixes, as well as changes to the printing capabilities.

It now prints dots at the correct height for line of dots printed on a printer.

The printer driver will now not print dots when you connect the printer to the network and then disconnect it.
Fourthly, the Leopard Print driver will no longer attempt to generate a bogus number of dpi dots when printing lines of dots.
Fifthly, when a print fails, Leopard prints will no long display dots at a lower number of than the print level.
Sixthly and finally, Leopard printers print capabilities are now fully functional in the new print engine.
These improvements are important for Leopard drivers to be more useful, as it is the only print engine that supports printing dots using the printer.
